Who is responsible for the site
Free Classroom Tools is responsible for decisions about information processed through this website. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to contact@freeclassroomtools.com.
The site is intended for teachers and school staff. It is designed to avoid requiring pupil accounts and to minimise the personal information needed for ordinary classroom use.
Information handled by classroom tools
Most tools run inside your browser. Text, class lists, settings or activity content entered into those tools normally remain on the device while the tool is being used. Some tools save preferences or lists in browser storage so they are available when you return. You can remove that information by clearing the site's browser data.
Noise-meter tools request microphone permission. They use live sound levels in the browser to animate the display; the site does not intentionally record or upload classroom audio. You can refuse or withdraw microphone permission through your browser.
Do not enter confidential pupil information unless a tool clearly requires it. Class lists used in local browser tools should be limited to the minimum needed and cleared from shared devices after use.
Analytics, cookies and advertising
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated information such as page views, popular routes, referrers, device type and general location. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and designed not to identify visitors across websites. See Vercel's analytics privacy information.
Google Analytics is optional. Google analytics storage remains denied until you consent through the cookie notice. If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar storage for advertising only where the required consent has been given. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Why information is processed
Optional Google analytics and advertising storage rely on consent. Essential processing needed to provide requested tools, maintain security and operate the site is carried out for service delivery and legitimate operational interests.
Retention and your choices
Browser-stored tool data remains until you clear it. Live-poll content is temporary and normally removed after about three hours. Messages sent by email are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to answer and manage the enquiry. Analytics and service providers apply their own documented retention periods.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection in relation to personal information. Email contact@freeclassroomtools.com to make a request. UK visitors may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes and related information
This policy will be updated when the site's tools, providers or data practices materially change. The latest revision date appears at the top of the page.
