Classroom transition soundboard
A soundboard only helps when it signals the same thing every time. This template lays out nine routine sounds — thinking time, time up, transitions, correct and wrong — so your classroom cues stay consistent.

How to use it
- 1
Agree with the class what each sound means before you use it.
- 2
Play "thinking time" before you take answers.
- 3
Use "time up" rather than raising your voice to end a task.
- 4
Keep the board on this soundboard during independent work.
Teaching notes
Non-verbal cues reduce the volume of your voice across a day. Pick three or four sounds and use them identically every lesson — pupils respond to consistency, not novelty. Add the same sound to the end of every task and it quickly becomes a routine rather than an interruption.

Classroom transition soundboard FAQ
Can I change the sounds on the board?
Yes. The soundboard is editable, so you can swap pads for the cues your class already knows.
Does it need an internet connection?
The sounds are built in and play in the browser, so it works reliably once the page has loaded.
Can I save my own arrangement?
You can save a board to your Plus workspace so the same layout is waiting on any device next lesson.
