Teaching notes
The point of cold calling is that every pupil prepares an answer, not that a name is plucked from nowhere. Put the question on the board, allow three to five seconds of thinking time, then pick. If a pupil is stuck, bounce the question to a second name rather than rescuing it yourself.

Can I replace the names with my own class?

Does it keep picking the same pupil?
You can turn on "Remove after picking" so each pupil is chosen once before anyone repeats.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. The picker is free to open and use with no login. An account is only needed if you want to save your class list across devices.
