How much of each word is removed?

You choose 20%, 40% or 60% of the letters, either at random positions or in a fixed repeating pattern.

Can pupils see the first letter as a clue?

Yes. Keep first and last letters visible is on by default — turn it off for a harder challenge.

Can I print the result?

Yes. Use the Print button for a worksheet with name, date and class fields, or copy and download the text.
