Teaching notes

Run this as a five-minute starter rather than a whole activity. Reading the intact text first gives pupils the sounds and rhythm, so when the gaps appear they are reconstructing meaning rather than guessing. Follow it with a short oral repetition to secure pronunciation.

Cloze passage: Spanish daily routine FAQ

Is it suitable for beginners?

Switch the selection mode to every fifth word for an easier version, or use a random 20% and protect the verbs.

Paste any target-language passage into the text box and the cloze rebuilds instantly.

Does it translate the text?

No. It only removes words from what you provide, so the language stays exactly as you wrote it.
